About the Programme/Sector

We are currently recruiting an Admin Apprentice to join IHI Care Services, a leading Care Provider, based in Birmingham (B14). This role will involve supporting senior staff in all administrational tasks
related to providing a high-quality service. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn whilst you learn, gain practical skills and experience in a professional office environment, whilst working towards at Level 3 Business Administrator Standard. Training for this role will be provided.

Working Hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.

Duties of the Role

Provide a high-quality service adhering to all IHI Care policies, especially those relating to equal opportunities, service user confidentiality and health and safety.

There are many duties outlined in the role of Office Admin including:

- Answering the intercom, welcoming carers, guests, and customers
- Managing correspondence including phone calls, letters, and packages
- Minute taking during Manager and carer meetings
- Data entry including inputting and auditing weekly client case records
- Registering and monitoring of weekly Covid tests and vaccinations of new carers
- Ability to use Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
- Willingness to learn the company’s care planner system
- Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery, PPE and Covid test kits
- Constant maintenance of all legislations surrounding GDPR and Confidentiality

- Age 16-18: maths and English at GCSE or Functional Skills or equivalents (grades will be discussed at interview)
- Age 19+: must have maths and English GCSE grade 9 to 4 (A* to C) or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalents

Working Hours, Salary & Job Benefits

After 15 Months you will achieve a Business Administrator Level 3 (Standard) with this apprenticeship.
The base salary is National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage.
