Our Schools programme is tailored around year 9 to year 13 students with the aim to provide essential personal development and employability skills. The Gordon Franks Training Schools Programme is adapted to the students and schools individual needs, offering vocational training, motivation, the chance to experience working life and to enhance the school curriculum.
During the one or two day per week (or equivalent) they are on the programme, students will study for qualifications in vocational subjects (e.g. QCF Standards)
We understand that each school is going to have different requirements, this is why we encourage you to mix and match our services to create a personalised, bespoke package. Or alternatively, we can offer you a one off session. This approach will help you to get the best out of our programmes.
Delivered in a mixture of settings. Throughout our programme, students will divide their time between school, hands on training and work experience with supportive employers. The aim is to provide the majority of experience ‘on the job’, in a real work environment.
The Schools Programme enables both the student and school to become involved in shaping the workforce of the future, by offering able and motivated students between the ages of 13 and 19 the chance to get a taste of real work alongside their school studies.
This programme also aims to meet the Gatsby Benchmarks that have been set. Please download our Schools Prospectus to find out more.
