Access To Early Years

Designed for young people to provide essential development & employability skills.

Programme Overview

Are you looking for a career in Childcare?

Our exciting Access to Early Years (Traineeship) programme has been designed for young people ages 16 to 18 (or 19 to 24 with an EHCP) with the aim to provide you with essential personal development and employability skills to prepare you for the world of work. This programme replicates aspects of working life and is nothing like school, college or sixth form.

Our dedicated tutors will support you throughout the programme, ensuring you develop the key skills and qualities that employers are looking for. This is also a great opportunity to progress with your maths and English Functional Skills qualifications.

Working with our recruitment team, we will guide you through this programme with the final goal of securing an apprenticeship or college offer in the Childcare sector.

Whilst on this programme, you will also be completing units from the Level 2 Introduction to Early Years Diploma.
